This morning I woke up extra early to direct a shoot for our blog, which I am super thrilled about. A girl I go to college with, Rachel Dray was more than happy to shoot and we had her amazingly talented model slash boyfriend, Ed Cunningham who modelled clothes styled by Nate Tighe. I am incredibly happy with the end result and here's a few shots I took on my new nifty little Fujifilm x10 (which I only got yesterday!).

PITCH-PRESENT
If you've never been on our blogging site, here is your chance to now! It's something to keep our readers updated and to have a constant feed of content. Most of the posts are written by our lovely blog editor Braydon, and a few by myself. Together we collaborate on content, and seem to have an extremely similar aesthetic - which works perfectly. Enjoy!

KUWAII X PITCH
We were lucky enough for Melbourne-based fashion label Kuwaii last week for the next issue of PITCH. On the team we had local Gold Coast photographer Matt Neilsen, Savannah Young & Blake Tobin for styling, Talisa @ Division modelling, Kylie Professional for make-up and hair, and myself for creative direction.
Here's a few photographs I took from the day, taken on my phone and disposable film camera;

BIANCA BLADES
So something I worked on quite recently, something I worked very hard on for a good friend of mine and fellow creative in Brisbane. Bianca Blades in a g.e.n.i.u.s. She's a talented young lass, who is so incredibly driven and works SO hard, she deserved an awesome portfolio site. Here's a preview of the site I did for her....

IT'S BEEN A WHILE...
I've been learning about vector images!
Yes it's been a while since I've been on blogger, I have shamefully been using tumblr as my major blog however it's been more of an inspirational feed rather than any sort of intellectually formed sentences! Anyway, basically I'm just going to update on recent events. I've decided I need to document all of my design inspiration, so I figured this would be a great place to do it! I'm also in a new semester of uni, and unfortunately I have no motivation whatsoever apart from 2 subjects which I'm loving and the one I'm majorly interested in is Visual Communication. We've been assigned to design a device and create all the layouts of the packaging, media and advertisements which is EVER SO FUN! Haha, but seriously I love making logos. There's a few I've just quickly designed.
Another thing with doing this subject is that I am really into colours so a lot of my colour schemes draw from fashion photography I've seen lately. Here's some of my most influential photographs I've seen lately.
I've also been cutting out heaps of editorials from magazines which is really helpful, as well as looking for different layouts and such.

JONO WINNEL
I was quite delighted after reading Daydream Lily blog as I came to realise that Liss Winnel (who runs Daydream Lily) has been growing up with quite the creative family. With an inspiring artist as a sister (Bec Winnel) and Liss being the creative type herself, it wasn't hard to come across her talented photographer brother, Jono. He's done loads of photography including a shoot for CycleStyle, as well as snapping some shots for a Melbourne indie-pop band Buckley Ward. Take a peek at some of his fabulous photography.
Head to Jono's website to have a peek at some of his other work http://jonowinnel.com

Most of which from will unfortunately be purchased purely on a count of my laziness, I can still dream though! Take a peek at my perfect summer outfit for 2011!
Doesn't it just make you so desperately want to go play some tennis, maybe have picnic by the lake?
